  5. Just what is a  "NINJA" ?

  9.  We had a friend in Dallas, Texas go to the Dallas Public
  10. Library to look up just what Ninja means. The reason for this is
  11. the popularity of this character and our personal convictions
  12. that it would not be wise to allow our children to play with
  13. this type character or to imitate them.

  21. "I have checked with the Dallas Public library for information
  22. on Ninja that you asked me about. "Ninja" is short for
  23. "Ninjitsu". Ninjitsu is an ancient warrior society of Japan. 
  24. The Ninja engage in martial arts meditation (T.M.) and was
  25. banned about three centuries ago by one of Japan's Emperors. 
  26. The Ninja were rivals of the Samurai warriors.  I presume the
  27. emperor who banned the Ninja was a Samurai.  Samurai also use
  28. martial arts, meditation and were violent like the Ninja. 
  29. Samurai preferred to kill themselves rather than be captured by
  30. an enemy.  A Samurai warrior who was in battle and expected
  31. capture would stab himself in the heart rather than surrender.

  33. This form of suicide was called "Hari-kiri" (ritual suicide). If
  34. the Samurai had the time he would go into a meditation trance
  35. first before killing himself.  Satanic practice, to be sure.

  37. I don't know if the Ninja practiced suicide like the Samurai. 
  38. After the Ninja were outlawed, as I mentioned above, they became
  39. a secret society of assassins.,  They would ambush Samurai or
  40. other enemies and murder them using their martial arts skills,
  41. swords and stars (5 sharp points on a round piece of steel),
  42. which they threw into the bodies of their victims.  Ninja
  43. practice transcendental mediation, putting themselves into
  44. trances too, supposedly, give them powers to vanquish enemies. 
  45. Their religious meditation seems to me to be satanic in every
  46. particular.

  48. There is in modern day Japan a large number of organized crime
  49. syndicates in Tokyo and other Japanese cities. Each syndicate
  50. has Ninja trained killers to fight with police and with other
  51. crime mobs, and to assassinate political foes, or other persons.

  53. You are right to keep the "teenage ninja mutant turtles" out of
  54. your children's way.  The 
  55.  
  56. "Ninja Turtles" are a bad influence on children of all ages. 
  57. Unfortunately, the 
  58.  
  59. "Ninja Turtle" craze is quite popular with thousands (maybe even
  60. millions) of youngsters who are unaware of the history of the
  61. Ninja (Ninjitsu).

  63. Ninja assassins clothe themselves in black coverings, like
  64. robes, sort of and veil their faces in black coverings.  Only
  65. their eyes are visible.  Enough of that."

  68. Should you let your children play with ninja turtles? From the information 
  69. provided from the public library I would think not.  You be the judge.
  70. We all have to stand accountable before the Lord.  We are to train up
  71. our children in the way of the Lord. Allowing them to play with 
  72. ninja turtles which represent evil would be wrong and would be
  73. leading our children astray.
